Astronomy for Storytellers teaches space science through wonder, narrative, and visual imagination. Students learn the basics—moon phases, planets, stars, galaxies, and cosmic time—while also exploring how humans have used the sky to tell stories, navigate, and build meaning. The science stays real and grounded, but the doorway is awe: observation, imagination, and the feeling of "I can actually understand this."

The tone stays gentle and accessible: we focus on concepts that stick and experiences that inspire. We build a simple mental model of the night sky (what moves, what doesn't, what changes over a month, what changes over a year) so students stop seeing space as random and start seeing it as a patterned, understandable system.

Creative output is part of the learning. Students create short story pieces, myth riffs, character monologues, or "sky journals" that blend science accuracy with voice. The result is a course that builds both scientific literacy and expressive power—without making kids feel like they're in a textbook.
