Intro Biology Lab makes biology feel real through observation, simple experiments, and lab-style thinking. Students explore cells, genetics, ecosystems, evolution, and human systems while learning how scientists ask questions, test ideas, and interpret results. We focus on concepts that show up everywhere: structure vs. function, feedback loops, energy flow, and adaptation.

Lab work is designed to be accessible and hands-on, with clear procedures and a strong emphasis on scientific writing. Students learn how to keep a lab notebook, form hypotheses, use controls, and communicate findings in a clean, professional format. They learn what "good evidence" looks like—and how to describe it without fluff.
